Who Is Trevor Wood ...

I am married, getting on for 40 years, have 2 kids and 3 dogs. I live in rural Shropshire, with sheep and cows as my only neighbours. But, it hasn't always been like that.

Working in a big corporate wasn't my ideal space and it took me a while to find it.

After graduation I worked for Dixons Retail, in store for initial training, then as Regional Branch Merchandiser for the North West, then in Head Office. I started in Product Management, when budgets were huge and so was turnover. I witnessed the chaos of the Curries takeover and the politics of a big company. (My office was adjacent to the MD's).

Since then, I've grown a manufacturing company before selling it on to the market leader, run national sales teams for leading telecomms companies, instigated major product launches and train up new sales teams.

I then stopped for a short while, after a major motor bike accident, where I broke my back, sternum, ribs and thumb. Long story. Instead of wallowing in the pain, yes, there was a lot of pain. I decided to quit my job and develop a software app. I then sold this to Lucent Technologies and many leading comms companies.

After a year of so working in the City for a leading FX Trading Platform, I setup a Call Centre, which grew to 150 seats, based in Mauritius.

For the last 14 years, I've been the UK distributor an Enterprise Level Planning Solution to corporate clients. This has been my lead into coaching, as I provide cnsultancy and support to so many of my clients, it seemed a natural step into coaching.

So, to today, and the start of trevorwood, the coach.
